Social scientist and development practitioner.
My work focuses on human experiences of development processes. I apply my knowledge to help formulate and refine social policy and to design, implement and evaluate social development initiatives and interventions. I create tools for assessing project compliance with international policy and legal frameworks. I advocate for the observation and advancement of international good practice.
I've enjoyed working as an international 'social development practitioner' for over a decade. Clients and projects that I have served include:

Lund University awarded Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the discipline of Asian Studies in 2011. The Asian Studies degree is one among several ‘Area Studies’ programmes offered by Lund University. Their emphasis is on cultural, historical, and political awareness of the geographic areas within which one studies and practices. The discipline of area studies also emphasize methodological awareness.
I enrolled at Lund after my first two years with CCCS. I attended the university from Aug 2007 until Dec 2009. During my final semester of study, I was awarded an internship at the Asian Development Bank—a stay they extended by hiring me as a short-term consultant.
As an undergraduate at Pacific Lutheran University from September 2000 to July 2004, I earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Anthropology. The research emphasis of my senior capstone project was in archeology and included specialized training in ichthyofaunal analysis at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. I also minored in the German language after spending my sophomore year at Albert-Ludwigs Universität in Freiburg, Germany.
